Early 2008 was a sad time for the extended Dixon family, with the loss of several family members.
On 20th February 2008 Auntie Nell Brodie (ne Gray) from Auchinleck passed away after a short spell in Hospital.
On 14th April 2008, our Mum and Gran Elizabeth Dixon (ne Melville) passed away, at home in Whiteinch, Glasgow, after a year of illness.
On 29th June 2008 our Uncle Bob Melville passed away at home in Mukinbuddin, Western Australia, after a period of illness.
Happier Events
In August an enjoyable overnight was spent just outside of Troon in Ayrshire as we joined in the celebration of the marriage of Amy, one of the daughters of our friends Allan and Fiona Tunstall.
